SC Warns State Governments on Contempt of Court for Issuing FIR’s on Citizens for Issuing COVID Appeals on Social Media
SC warned all state governments that no FIR can be registered against people appealing for help on social media. We cannot clamp down on voices or grievances being posted online. Justice DY Chandrahud further warned the state governments on contempt of court if such FIRs are registered.
