Slowdown continues in the Basmati rice market. Rice millers and farmers were expecting a boost in prices after Diwali holiday but it seems low demand in the international market has taken a toll on the industry. Basmati Rice variants fell down further. Non-basmati rice prices also fell as new crop arrival increased throughout India.
