USD/ INR: Indian Rupee Forex Report 24 February

USD/INR- The Indian Rupee settled at 72.33 at 7:55 PM INR on 24 February. The Indian rupee traded between 72.308 and 72.412 today. On the other hand, the dollar index is uncertain this week. Accordingly, it’s value decreased by 0.06% and settled at 90.13 as of 8:55 PM EST Wednesday. 

USD/ INR: Oil Prices

The US WTI crude oil prices rose marginally today. However, with the ongoing oil demand concern and the growing coronavirus pandemic, it is doubtful if the OPEC+ can maintain the levels. Accordingly, crude oil increased by 0.13% at 8:00 PM on 24 February to trade at USD 63.30 per barrel globally. On the other hand, Brent Crude trading at USD 67.16 per barrel as it was traded 0.18% higher on Wednesday.

USD/ INR- Gold Prices

Precious metal prices began this week on a high but fell two consecutive days. Accordingly, gold futures decreased by 0.60% or 282.00 Rupees to settle at 46520.00 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. Likewise, Silver futures fell by 886 Rupees or 1.20% to settle at Rs. 68676.00 per kg. The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic and the COVID-19 mutants kept precious metals’ prices on edge this year. In the international market, Spot Gold was trading at USD 1807 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 27.63 per ounce.

USD/ INR- Sensex Today

The BSE Sensex ended in the green on 24 February. Accordingly, Sensex increased by 2.07% or 1030.28 points. Thereby ending the session at 50781.69 at 4:10 PM IST Wednesday. Similarly, the NIFTY increased by 1.86% or 274.20 points and ended up at 14982.00.
