Rice market has been stable for the past one week. Low export demand in basmati is keeping the market on the edge now with low stocks at disposal. In terms of non-basmati rice, the summer harvest in Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal has lowered the prices by atleast 5% and helped the exporters compete in the international market.
