Gang Busted for Selling Remdesivir in the Black Market
Delhi Police today busted two interstate gangs and arrested four people in connection with the black marketing of Remdesivir. A total of 81 injections recovered from their possession. The gang used to buy injections through courier confirmed Ms. Monika Bhardwaj, DCP.

Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre SOS Call for Oxygen
Dr Bankata, Executive Director at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Delhi confirmed that Inox has refused to give LMO supply beyond 1.7 MT they supplied at 2 pm. With 275 COVID-19 patients at the hospital, they may run out of oxygen by 8-8:30 pm today.

New Mutated COVID-19 Variants Undetectable by RTPCR Test
Dr Chandra of Helvetia Medical Centre in Delhi confirmed today that the new COVID-19 mutant seems to be undetectable by RTPCR test. He further stressed that the new double and triple mutated COVID-19 virus variants remain undetected with the RTPCR test due to a change in the structure of the virus.
Further, the new COVID-19 mutated variants are causing new symptoms. We’re seeing patients with diarrhoea, abdominal pain, rashes, conjunctivitis, confusion state, brain fog, bluish discolouration of fingers and toes, bleeding through nose and throat apart from usual symptoms -sore throat, body ache, fever, loss of smell and taste confirmed Dr Souradipta Chandra.

Only 30 Minutes Oxygen Stock Left at Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, Delhi
The hospital has over 160 COVID-19 positive patients admitted and has oxygen stock for 30 minutes only. Officials at the hospital confirmed that they have been waiting for the supply since last night but nothing has arrived yet.

Two Delhi Hospitals Move High Court on Shortage of Oxygen Issue
Bram Health-care Private Limited and Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre moved the Delhi High Court today on the issue relating to the shortage of oxygen in the capital.
Delhi High Court issued notices to Centre and Delhi government on the two hospitals plea.
The Delhi High Court suggested Delhi Government appoint more people with a nodal officer to meet the oxygen requirement of the hospitals at this crucial time.

PM Modi Holds a High Level Meeting on Oxygen Supply and Availability
To boost supply and efficient distribution of oxygen to hospitals, PM Modi chaired a meeting today with all stakeholders.
PM was briefed on how oxygen supply is steadily increasing in India. The present demand from 20 states stands at 6,785 MT per day of Liquid Medical Oxygen and the Government of India has allocated 6,822 MT per day to these states.
