Total cases in Delhi increased to 525 on Monday as 22 new cases were confirmed by State Health Officials. Ten out of the 22 new cases are linked to Tablighi Jamaat Event.
Total Coronavirus Cases
In a shocking revelation, out of the total 525 cases as many as 329 cases in Delhi are linked to Tablighi Jamaat event at Nizamuddin Markaz. Total of 169 cases have international travel history and rest of them are relatives or colleagues of the positive cases.
According to official data, 8500 Coronavirus tests have been conducted so far. In addition, more than 18500 people are home quarantined. However, it was reported that 176 FIRs were issued on people violating Home Quarantine in Delhi.
Deaths and Recovered Patients
Three more COVID-19 positive patients recovered in Delhi taking the total number of recovered to 19. Total COVID-19 deaths reported in the capital are 7.
Total recovered patients likely to increase within this week.
Delhi CM was heard complaining earlier about PPE Kit shortage rather than funds. Also, PPE kit shortage remains a problem throughout the country including Delhi.
