Coronavirus cases in Uttar Pradesh stand at 10947 with 411 new Coronavirus cases being reported today. Further, 159 COVID-19 positive patients recovered today. Sadly, 8 patients passed away due to Coronavirus in UP.
Coronavirus Cases Growth Rate in the state stands at 4%
COVID-19 tests conducted as on June 08 stand at 3,80,723 Tests per million figure in the state increased to 1692. Testing has risen in Uttar Pradesh with 20465 tests conducted on Monday.
Coronavirus Death Rate and Cured Cases in Uttar Pradesh
Mortality rate stands at 2.59% compared to the national average of 2.81%. Total of Recovered cases increased to 6344. Recovery rate in UP rose to 57.95% also, the death toll jumped to 283.
Coronavirus District Wise Report in Uttar Pradesh
Agra District remains the worst affected with over 972 Coronavirus cases out of which 15 reported today. While Gautam Budh Nagar and Meerut reported 59 and 21 new cases taking total District tally to 699 and 541 positive cases respectively. All districts in Uttar Pradesh have had 3 or more COVID-19 cases.
Pakistan’s editor of Dawn newspaper praised Yogi Adityanath government’s response and handling of COVID crisis in the state. Uttar Pradesh could have been a centre of COVID crisis in the country however, the state government took strict measures in controlling the situation.
