Total cases in Madhya Pradesh touched 268 today. Two health officials in the state had tested positive in Bhopal on 04th of April. On Monday, it was reported that more than 32 officials of Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Health Services tested positive. This led to sealing of their office building. Family member and colleagues who met the infected officials recently have been asked to home quarantine and report in case anyone shows symptoms of the virus.
Total Coronavirus Cases in Madhya Pradesh
12 COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Bhopal today taking the total number of infected cases in the city to 74. New patients include 5 health department officials and 7 Tablighi Jamaat event attendees. Indore remains the epicenter of Coronavirus in the state with more than 151 cases. Community transmission in both districts of Bhopal and Indore remains high.

Case of 26000 People Quarantined After a Man Held a Feast for 1500 People in Morena Madhya Pradesh
A person who returned from Dubai had held a customary feast for 1500 people to honour her mother’s death on 20th of March. Later he and his wife tested positive along with 10 people who the couple came in contact with. It was revealed that more than 1200 people attended the funeral feast. Which led to 26000 people getting quarantined that included relatives and friends that came in contact with people who attended the funeral.
Coronavirus Deaths and Recovered Patients in Madhya Pradesh
Four Deaths were confirmed today in Madhya Pradesh taking the total number to 19. Total of 11 Coronavirus positive patients have recovered in Madhya Pradesh.
