Coronavirus Cases Growth Rate in the state stands at 4%
COVID-19 tests conducted as on June 09 stand at 391286. Tests per million figure in the state increased to 1739.
Coronavirus Death Rate and Cured Cases in Uttar Pradesh
Mortality rate stands at 2.76% compared to the national average of 2.7%. Total of Recovered cases increased to 6971. Recovery rate in UP rose to 60.04%, also the death toll jumped to 321.
Coronavirus District Wise Report in Uttar Pradesh
Agra District remains the worst affected with over 994 Coronavirus cases out of which 8 reported today. While Gautam Budh Nagar and Meerut reported 19 and 14 new cases taking total District tally to 746 and 567 positive cases respectively. The district with the least number of COVID-19 cases is Lalitpur with only 3 total positive cases and one active case.
Scouts and Guides to Help Monitor the Quarantined
Gautam Budh Nagar UP Bharat Scouts and Guides are all set to monitor people subjected to home quarantine. Subsequently, they will monitor the people that have recovered from COVID-19 and are advised 14 days quarantine. Also, the interstate passengers that are under quarantine.
ASHA Workers Help Track the Migrants
The accredited social health activists (ASHA) has helped track over 14.72 lakh migrants. Also, over 1400 symptomatic samples are sent for COVID-19 testing. Till date, approximately 20% cases have been tracked by these workers, reports Health Principal Secretary Amit Mohan Prasad.
