GATE 2021: Download Admit Card Now

The admit card for GATE 2021 conducted by IIT Bombay is out on its official website. Read on to know the procedure to download the admit card as well as to check the exam.

Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering 2021 (GATE) is set to conduct the exam on February 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14. Also, the IIT confirms that the exam will be conducted in two shifts (Forenoon and afternoon). Currently, 8,82,684 candidates have enrolled for the GATE 2021 exam. Of which, 14,196 candidates have applied for the humanities subjects introduced this current year.

Download GATE 2021 Admit Card

The candidates can access and download their admit cards from the GOAPS 2021 website. Once the candidate visits the official website, a window will open requesting the enrollment ID and password. Subsequently, after flourishing the details, you can download the admit card. Note that, the candidate will not be allowed into the examination centre without the admit card. Also, the students must carry a recent photograph and identity proof.

Things to Check for the Admit Card

The GATE 2021 will contain the details of the candidates, some of the important details that must be checked are:

  1. Candidate’s correct name
  2. Registration number
  3. Subject
  4. Date and Time of the exam
  5. Examination Centre and code
  6. Candidate’s Photo and Signature
  7. Instructions

Retrieve Admit Card

In case the student has forgotten enrollent ID or the password, the candidate need not panic. As the website offers a quick solution to obtain retrive admit card despite the mishap.

  1. Retrieve enrollment ID- Click on the “Forgot Enrollment ID” option. This will automatically send a link to the registered mail ID.
  2. Retrieve Password- Click on the “Forgot Password” option, and enter the mail ID and other credentials to obtain a link to retrieve the password.

In all, despite the students protests to postpone the exam, the admit card is released. Also, in case of error in the admit card, the same can be rectified in the correction window until January 15.
