1509 Basmati Paddy has seen sudden increase in price from INR 2500 per quintal to INR 2700 per quintal. This is due to low arrival in the Mandi\u2019s and increased demand from exporters with pending orders. As per reports from millers and traders, prices are expected to decrease in coming days once the arrival of paddy increases. Prices of PR11 and other basmati varieties firmed up by INR 1 per kg.
