Basmati Rice and hybrid basmati varieties are recovering slowly since the news broke of delayed payments in Iran for 125000 Metric Tons of Basmati Rice worth INR 1250 crores. Prices of Basmati rice fell significantly last week<\/a> and are witnessing an average of 1 rupee per kg recovery in all varieties. Prices of Non-Basmati remain unchanged since the increase in prices last week. Sona Masoori varieties have also seen an increase of INR 1<\/a> Per Kg throughout the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
