Know What You Should Do"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yes Bank Account Holders are in a fix since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/rbi-supersedes-yes-bank-board-under-section-36aca-limits-withdrawal-limit-shares-slide-by-over-80\/\">moratorium <\/a>and restrictions by RBI having alarmed its account holders. While there is no need to panic, here is what you should do if you have an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/how-to-open-a-current-account-for-your-business\/\">account<\/a>, investment, loan or SIP with Yes Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yes Bank <strong>Withdrawal Restrictions<\/strong> <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Account holders can withdraw up to Rs 50,000 from all accounts (savings, deposits or current) with the bank till the moratorium period of 30 days end. Further, the bank will not grant or renew any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/export-finance-and-loan-options-for-exporters\/\">loan<\/a>, incur any liability or make any payments.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"546\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/YES-BANK--1024x546.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/YES-BANK--1024x546.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/YES-BANK--300x160.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/YES-BANK--768x410.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/YES-BANK-.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Yes Bank Account Holders <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, all salary account holders with the bank who need\nto withdraw more than Rs 50,000 will need to figure alternative ways. Besides,\nan account to account transfer is allowed up to the limit. However, the\ntransferee will not be able to make withdrawals or transfers once the limit\nexhausts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EMI Disbursement, SIPs, Insurance Premium Payments\u00a0<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>All EMI disbursements, SIPs, and insurance premium\npayments will be honored if they are within the prescribed limit of Rs 50,000.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fate of Cheque Issued<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to suspension of all clearing activities, cheques\nalready issued will not be honored till further directives or reinstatement of\nclearing activities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Effect on Mutual Fund Investors<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>To protect its investors, mutual fund companies have\nstopped accepting redemption requests into Yes Bank accounts. Hence, the\naccount holders, who have their mutual investment fund account with Yes Bank,\ncan request for change of account with their canceled cheque to CAMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Insurance Cover limit<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>In case the bank dissolves, each account holder is insured for Rs 5 lakh across all accounts (including lockers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NEFT and RTGS Limits <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The prescribed Yes Bank withdrawal limit of Rs 50,000 includes cash withdrawal, Demand Drafts and domestic remittances through NEFT\/RTGS. Hence, the total debit should not exceed the limit until April 3rd, 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes Bank\u2019s digital payment partner <a href=\"http:\/\/WWW.PHONEPE.COM\">PhonePe <\/a>suffered an outage after the moratorium. Also, FM Sitharaman has assured the depositors of their being safe.
