Despite the depreciation, it stays defensive by staying close to 74. Accordingly, it settled at 73.78 on 8 September. The Indian rupee traded between 73.067 &#8211; 73.796 today. As of now, the dollar inflow and the intervention from RBI weaken the upward trend of USD\/INR. On the other hand, the dollar index increased today after experiencing a rise for the past two days. Accordingly, its value fell and settled at 92.72 as of 04:45 PM EDT Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-usd-inr-oil-prices\">USD\/ INR: Oil Prices <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The US WTI crude oil prices are highly volatile. Furthermore, with the ongoing oil demand concern and the growing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/\">coronavirus pandemic<\/a>, it is highly uncertain. Also, recent studies predict that the oil demand will not reach the pre-crisis level until 2023. Further, studies and experts hint that carbon trade might take over and grow 10 times bigger than the global crude oil market. Accordingly, crude oil increased by 0.09% at 05:50 PM on 8 September to trade at USD 69.36 per barrel globally. On the other hand,\u00a0Brent\u00a0Crude was set at USD 72.69 per barrel and traded at a rate of 0.12% higher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-usd-inr-gold-prices\">USD\/ INR-  Gold Prices  <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Precious metal prices are slowing rebounding in India, they are highly volatile trying to regain their momentum. Accordingly, gold futures increased by .0.17% or <em>\u20b9<\/em> 81.00 to settle at <em>\u20b9<\/em> 47020.00 per 10 gram on the multi-commodity exchange. At the same time, Silver futures fell by <em>\u20b9<\/em> 22.00 or 0.05% to settle at  <em>\u20b9<\/em> 63486.00 per kg. The resurgence of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/coronavirus-covd-19-live-cases-tracker-john-hopkins\/\">COVID-19<\/a> pandemic and the COVID-19 mutants kept precious metals&#8217; prices on edge this year. In the international market, Spot Gold was trading at USD 1798 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 24.37 per ounce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-usd-inr-sensex-today\">USD\/ INR- Sensex Today <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The BSE Sensex fell and ended in the red on 08 September. Accordingly, Sensex decreased by 0.05% or 29.22 points. Thereby, ending the session at 58250.26 at 4:10 PM IST Wednesday. On the other hand, the NIFTY also decreased by 0.05% or 8.60 points and ended up at 17353.50. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>USD\/ INR- Rupee settled at 73.78 against the US Dollar.
