The Indian currency settled at 72.98 at 9:41 PM INR on 2 February. The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/usd-inr-indian-rupee-forex-report-28-january\/\"> Indian rupee<\/a> traded between 72.900 and 73.120 today. On the other hand, the dollar index fell 0.12% and settled at 90.87 as of 9:18 PM EST on Tuesday.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-usd-inr-oil-prices\">USD\/ INR: Oil Prices <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The US WTI crude oil prices rose for the second day after experiencing a sharp fall last month. The oil <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/farmers-protest-msp-apmcs-and-legit-farmers-demand\/\">demand <\/a>concern and the growing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/coronavirus-covd-19-live-cases-tracker-john-hopkins\/\">coronavirus pandemic<\/a> fear kept the investors on edge. Accordingly, crude oil rose by 2.84% at 9:29 PM on 2 February to trade at USD 55.07 per barrel globally. On the other hand,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.grainmart.in\/news\/brent-touches-five-month-high-due-to-30-cuts-in-supply-from-abu-dhabi\/\">Brent\u00a0<\/a>Crude trading at USD 57.88 per barrel was traded 2.72% higher on Tuesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-usd-inr-gold-prices\">USD\/ INR-  Gold Prices  <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Precious metal prices begin the month with a fall. Accordingly, gold futures decreased by 1.37% or 664.00 Rupees to settle at 47730.00 per 10 grams on the multi-commodity exchange. Similarly, Silver futures decreased by 4866.00 Rupees or 6.61% to settle at Rs. 68800.00 per kg. The emergence of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/\">COVID-19<\/a> pandemic and the COVID-19 vaccine kept precious metals&#8217; prices on edge this year. In the international market, Gold was trading at USD 1848.30 per ounce in New York. On the other hand, Silver traded at USD 27.50 per ounce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-usd-inr-sensex-today\">USD\/ INR- Sensex Today<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The BSE Sensex ended in the green on 2 February. Accordingly, Sensex increased by 2.46% or 1197.11 points. Thereby ending the session at 49797.72 at 4:10 PM IST on Tuesday.
